Example: Tablet, view for patients

February 2024
agenda

Patients receive an organizer that is tailored to their abilities. Scrolling or gesture control are not required.
The organizer is installed on a tablet (which can be mounted on the wall) or a television set.

Family and friends can use their smartphone to define the content of the organizer, for example to make entries in the calendar.
Everyone has their own access to the "Living-in-my-shell" studio.
This allows relatives to work together and share tasks.

The relatives can send a simple message to the sick person and receive a very simple reply.

The technical implementation is compliant with European data protection laws.

A typical situation

It often happens that a person suffering from dementia lives at home and needs support.
They become increasingly forgetful and lose their sense of time.
Everyday tasks become increasingly overwhelming.
Placement in a care home is not an option for a variety of reasons.
In this situation and similar cases, "Living in my shell" can perhaps help the sick person to live independently for longer and stay in touch with their loved ones..
